The reality, however, is that the situation remains&#13;\ncomplicated: a lack of affordable housing supply, constant price increases, and&#13;\nthe impossibility for many young people to become independent.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this context, projects have begun to emerge which, if developed with intelligence and strategic vision, could mark a turning point. We refer to Margineda Park, based on the concept of flex living, and Circles House La Serra d\u2019Auviny\u00e0, the country\u2019s first boutique coliving. This model offers furnished or unfurnished&#13;\napartments, with contracts adaptable to residents\u2019 needs, integrated services&#13;\nsuch as cleaning, maintenance, utilities, internet, and security, as well as shared&#13;\nliving spaces including lounges, communal kitchens, terraces, and a gym.<\/p>\n\n<p>Beyond housing, the project aims to incorporate a technology training center&#13;\nwith programs in cybersecurity, data, and artificial intelligence, as well as offices&#13;\nand spaces for innovative companies, commercial and dining areas, and&#13;\nvarious leisure and daily service facilities. The goal is to create a complete&#13;\necosystem that combines affordable housing with professional and academic opportunities. It is not only about providing a roof but about offering an&#13;\nenvironment where people can live, work, learn, and grow.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Circles_House_La_Serra_dAuvinya_a_boutique_coliving\"><\/span><h2><strong>Circles House La Serra d\u2019Auviny\u00e0: a boutique coliving<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2><\/h2>\n\n<p>In a different register, but with a convergent philosophy, arises Circles House&#13;\nLa Serra d\u2019Auviny\u00e0. Located in an old farmhouse surrounded by nature, this&#13;\nboutique coliving will open with a first phase of 35 rooms. Residents will be&#13;\nable to enjoy coliving and coworking services, a restaurant, social areas,&#13;\nwellness spaces, music rooms, and cultural facilities.<\/p>\n\n<p>Stays will be short or medium-term and designed especially for entrepreneurs&#13;\nand professionals seeking an environment of coexistence, collaboration, and&#13;\npersonal development. It is not just about sharing housing but about&#13;\nexperiencing a lifestyle based on cooperation, innovation, and personal growth.&#13;\nThe second phase, scheduled for 2026, will expand capacity to around 80&#13;\nrooms and consolidate the idea of an incubator for entrepreneurs and&#13;\ncreators, integrated into a natural and healthy environment.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Two_answers_that_can_complement_each_other\"><\/span><h2><strong>Two answers that can complement each other<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2><\/h2>\n\n<p>We are faced with two different responses to the same challenge. Margineda&#13;\nPark addresses the need for volume and accessibility, while Circles House&#13;\nproposes a more qualitative life and professional experience. Far from&#13;\ncompeting, these models can and should join forces.<\/p>\n\n<p>What is missing is that initiatives like these gain continuity and become part of a&#13;\nnational housing strategy that also invests in the development of knowledge&#13;\nand innovation.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_challenges_ahead\"><\/span><h2><strong>The challenges ahead<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2><\/h2>\n\n<p>The challenges are clear. Proper regulation and protection of residents are&#13;\nneeded, especially in flexible models. Costs must be competitive, and housing&#13;\nmust be truly affordable for the middle class and for young people. It is also&#13;\nessential to develop efficient infrastructure and mobility to connect these new&#13;\nspaces with the rest of the country.<\/p>\n\n<p>We must not forget the importance of environmental and urban&#13;\nsustainability, leveraging efficiency while respecting the environment. Above&#13;\nall, however, what is needed is a long-term vision, one that goes beyond four-&#13;\nyear political mandates and projects Andorra towards a 25- or 50-year horizon.&#13;\nImagining a society where housing is the least of our problems is both the&#13;\nchallenge and the goal.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"An_optimistic_outlook\"><\/span><h2><strong>An optimistic outlook<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2><\/h2>\n\n<p>If Andorra succeeds in overcoming these challenges, it could become a&#13;\nreference in innovative housing, balancing quality of life, community, and&#13;\nprofessional opportunities.<\/p>\n\n<p>I want to remain optimistic and believe that, despite the seriousness of the&#13;\ncurrent situation, the examples of Margineda Park and Circles House show&#13;\nthat there are possible paths forward. Living in Andorra should not only be a&#13;\nluxury, but an opportunity to experience everything that private initiative\u2014supported by adequate regulation and proactive, dialogue-driven institutions\u2014can promote for the benefit of citizens who, quite rightly, expect to have access to decent and affordable housing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Everyone is talking about the housing problem in Andorra and also about&#13; potential solutions.
